Hey there, Nice to meet you. I’m your girl next door, beauty aficionado and conspirator. I love all things bright and beautiful. And chocolate...oh yes, I love chocolate! As a child, I developed a fascination for the art of hair at a very young age. Through my school years, I did my fair share of hair for ballgames, proms, and slumber parties. I don’t want to brag, but when it came to braids and creating Princess Leia buns, I was a big deal. If I were being honest with myself, this was the spark plug that led me down the road of hairdressing. I’d like to say it was years of college and a bunch of capital letters after my name, but it wasn’t. My career began as a creative little girl with a doll head in the 70’s.
But don’t fret, not all my education took place when I was a child. My years of hard work, talent, and education has afforded me the title of master stylist. With over 35 years experience, I’ve trained under some of the industry’s most respected educators: Beth and Carmine Minardi, NAHA award winner Oscar Bond, Sam Villa and Redken global artist Chris Baron to name a few. I’ve attended courses at prestigious hair institutes such as the Redken Exchange in NYC, Haircolor USA in Miami and Toni and Guy Academy in Dallas. Continuing education has been the key to my success, it allows me the opportunity to stay on point with modern hair trends and techniques.
When it comes to an successful appointment, communication is key. I love it when you come prepared to talk about what you want and don’t want. Save me lots of photos and we’ll discuss the amount of maintenance that’s right for you and how frequently you’d like to visit the salon. This will allow me to create the perfect service based on your lifestyle and activities.
Every day, I am tasked with incredible opportunities. I get to empower women by making them feel as beautiful on the outside as they do on the inside. This is something I don’t take lightly.

Sonya Findley-Eshleman
Hi, I’m Sonya. Brad Paisley likes to sing songs about me, perhaps you’ve heard? I’m Sunshine with a little bit of Hurricane. Born and raised in Stockton, MO, I began styling hair at the ripe old age of 8. With two younger sisters in the house, I was always styling hair for school. As the years passed, and my skills grew, my sisters were looking more like the Spice Girls than elementary students. Soon all the little boys were swooning, and the girls were green with envy. My career was on the rise! Quickly, my mom took note of my avant-garde skills, and I was appointed master hairstylist of the Graves household. Realizing that I was onto something much bigger, I enrolled in cosmetology school in the fall of 2011.
In 2019, I relocated to Charlotte by way of Kansas City, MO. Life in Charlotte has been great as I have worked incessantly to build a successful business. I have over 13 years of experience as a master stylist and have trained with some of the top artists in the industry, Rickey Zito, who is known as the “Hair God” of vivid bright colors and Linh Phan.
Those that sit in my chair would tell you that I’m artistic and meticulous. With hair color, the possibilities are endless! I love to create specialty colors such as sun-kissed babylights, all-over color and rich vibrants.
I find inspiration in working with all hair types, but my specialty is found in cutting women’s short hairstyles.
In 2012, I received my certification as a curly hair specialist from the prestigious Devachan Salon in New York. Recognizing that continued education is vital, I continue to focus on learning the latest techniques.
All new client appointments begin with a consultation. We’ll chat about your expectations and I’ll share the approach needed to make it happen.
